What's In My Makeup Bag - Christina St. Jean

Christina StJean is a Brooklyn native who blogs at Style to the T. She started blogging last year in order to share her love of beauty and fashion. She took time out to show us the products in her makeup bag. Describe the items in your makeup bag. The following items are what I keep in my makeup bag to make sure my face is beat all day. We spend all morning trying to get our face together so the last thing I want is my face looking a mess by the end of the day.

I use NYC Liquid Eyeliner in case I want to darken my Gel Liner or if I change my mind and want to change my liner shape or extend my line for a hot cat eye. This is my favourite liquid eyeliner. It's so easy to work with and super black.

I might be a little overkill but I carry Benefit's they're real Mascara and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. Hands down, Benefit's they're real is my absolute favourite mascara. I carry mascara in my bag because some days I'll just do liner in the morning but then at work I want lashes or if I know I'm going out later and I want long lashes.

This might seem a bit much but I have to carry around multiple lippies at a time. Sometimes I want to change my lip colour and I need options. My lipsticks consists of Maybelline Glisten Up Pink, which is a light shimmery pink that's creamy, Clinique A Different Grape, which is such a nice subtle mauve perfect for the day, MAC Mineralized Rich in Posh Tone, which is a great nude that looks good on dark skin and Colourpop in LAX, which is one of my favourite lippies and it's a perfect matte.

For Lipglosses these are the ones I always have on me. NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches and Cream, which is a pinkish gloss that looks good on top of any pink lipsticks and creates a sheer pink that is great for day. I also have this gloss in Praline which is the perfect neutral and Ginger Snap, which is a lovely darker nude. I love the butter glosses because they are so pigmented and I love the formula; not too sticky and they last long.

Lip liners are essential - I have NYX Slim Lip Pencil in dark brown. This is the perfect brown which can be mixed with any lip colour. L'Oreal in berry delight is a great dark pink/ purple that I pair with almost all the glosses and lipsticks.

Maybelline Baby Lips in grape is vital to keeping my lips moisturised and I like the purplish tint - sometimes I wear this alone. I also have Maybelline Baby Lips in clear - this has no tint and keeps my lips moisturised when I just need moisture.

For my face I use MAC Blot Powder - I get oily in the centre of my face and this definitely helps battle the oily spots like my forehead, nose and cheeks. No one has the time to be looking like a brand new shiny penny. A little goes a long way to touch up. I also have Covergirl Queen Collection Ebony Bronzer which I rarely use but like to have in case I need to warm up my face a little. Last but not least is my Sephora mirror which I don't leave the house without.

Where did you get your makeup bag? I got my bag at a Lot Less by my job. I've had it for about two years now. I love that it's big so everything can fit in there, its cute and has a great message. It reminds me that happiness is a choice and sometimes we need that reminder.
