Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation
For a liquid foundation lover I have fallen hard for Urban Decay's latest offering to the Naked Range - the Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation. It comes in 14 different shades and I'm the shade Dark Warm but there are two more shades after this called Dark Neutral and Deep Neutral. This foundation can be used wet for fuller coverage or dry for lighter more matte effect. The powder is weightless, with buildable coverage, I've even used it to set liquid foundations, or as a touch up powder throughout the day. Urban Decay have designed this powder to be creamier than usual powders, to prevent caking, with a luminous Demi-matte finish. The advanced formula contains Highlighter Performing Pigments (HPP) Technology, to even out the skin tone and blurring pigments leave a soft focus effect. It's housed in a gorgeous plastic bronze case with secure clip closure, good sized mirror and powder puff, but I prefer a brush. It also comes with a purple floral designed pouch to protect the compact, which is prone to finger prints. The puff is double sided, the logo side is to be used wet and the other side for dry application.
I was worried about using it wet, for fear a seal would develop over the powder but this has not been the case. To apply, I just dampen my brush, dip and buff over the skin. I was shocked (during swatching) at how creamy this foundation felt for a powder product. It lasts well on the skin and I'm looking forward to using this during the warmer months, I think powder foundation may be the way to go on my oily summer skin.
The Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation is priced at retails for £26.00.
