Sharmadean Reid from WAH Nails Speaks at I'mPOSSIBLE
WAH Nails founder, Sharmadean Reid will be speaking at the autumn edition of the I’mPOSSIBLE, conversation on Wednesday 10th September. She will share her experiences in starting the groundbreaking nail business and talk about how she has turned it into one of the UK's most innovative brand. Sharmadean single-handedly brought the underground nail art scene into the mainstream in 2009 when she opened her cool East London salon. Not only did nail art take off in a huge way but WAH Nails were booked for every cool event both large and small from London Fashion Week, parties for brands such as Nike, Marc Jacobs and Diesel, festivals and Grand Prix. She will be joined by award-winning singer, Laura Mvula, Christies auctioneer, Kerry Chandler and culturalist, Rozan Ahmed.
Rozan Ahmed is a culturalist who merges diversity for the African continent across the UK, Middle East, Africa and the US.
Kerry Chandler is the Global Head of Human Resources for auction house, Christies and has had an impressive career holding senior roles at the NBA, Walt Disney Company, ESPN, Exxon Chemical Company, Motorola, Inc. and IBM.
Laura Mvula needs no introduction. She is an acclaimed British soul singer-songwriter who has been shortlisted for the Critics' Choice award at the 2013 BRIT Awards.
The event will be hosted by SKY News anchor, Lukwesa Burak who also runs a beauty brand called Gidore.
