Rodial was founded in 1999 by Maria Hatzistefanis and was designed to bridge the gap between scientific and natural based skincare. It’s now become a global brand with a huge celebrity following due to their alternatives to injectables and plastic surgery procedures, delivering treatment for specific skincare concerns combining the best anti-ageing and firming ingredients. The Glam Balm Lip SPF15 is part of the StemCell Super Food range, which was designed to nourish dehydrated skin with ingredients like Omega 3, 6 and 9 oils, Marula Oil, Vitamins A, B5, C and E combined with PhytoCellTec and Alp Rose stem cells. It is a protective lip balm to repair dehydrated lips, it’s infused with PhytoCellTec Alp Rose to care for the delicate lip area, while Shea Butter feeds essential vitamins into the lips. Rose Hip Oil provides essential fatty acids to stimulate collagen, while pomegranate provides super-antioxidant protection and the SPF 15 helps prevent sun damage and premature ageing.

This product is housed in a tub and a slim tube. I tried the tube which is handy for when you’re out and about compared to a tub that you have to stick your fingers in, from a hygiene stand point. It has a small opening on the slanted tip, but I found it difficult to control how much product came out and usually ended up with too much. I then would have to use my fingers, which defeats the purpose of the tube.

The texture is quite thin, almost a cross between a serum and a light balm. There's no tackiness, just a light sheen left in the lips. I actually didn’t find it that hydrating, I felt it sat on my lips rather than sinking in. This lip balm will set you back £17 but to be honest there are cheaper products out there that perform better.
