Pur Minerals Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipsticks

Mineral make up is well known for providing flawless complexion shades but the colour products are also worth considering. Gone are the days of wishy washy colour and Jezebel and Starlet show that the depth and range of colours has really improved. The boxes that these come in are really cute with the lips on them and I thought that the packaging was going to be a little more quirky so I was slightly disappointed with the grey plastic. I like the transparent section in the middle as you can see the colour. There is a slight buttery/vanilla fragrance with these lippies in the bullet but it does not translate to the lips. The formulas are very moisturising and they glide on the lips depositing a significant amount of colour. You cannot describe them as opaque formulas as if like me, your lips are different colours, you will find that it shows under the lipstick. They claim to have anti-ageing properties and provide a younger looking pout. I can't attest to that, but I do like these lipsticks.

Starlet is a red with depth. If a vintage matte red is a step too far for you - this is a great option. You can wear it as a stain, or build up the colour to full volume. Jezebel is described as plum but on my lips it is definitely brown. It is shot through with gold pearl but it is a grown up shimmer rather than glitter. You could wear it as a stain but it is beautiful built up. The formulas are paraben and gluten free and contain beeswax, shea butter, mango seed butter and grape extract.

Pur Minerals Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipsticks are available exclusively from Marks & Spencer this month. They come in 10 different shades and are priced at £16.00.
