My Trusty Sunflower Hand Cream

My Trusty Skincare is a skincare collection curated by the experts of the NHS. It is an award winning natural based skincare range and the profits of each sale go back to the NHS. The collection features six body care products.

The Sunflower Hand Cream is fragrance, parabens, lanolin and SLS free. It has been formulated with Sunflower Oil that naturally helps the barrier function of the skin. The hand cream is suitable for dry skin or people prone to eczema.

This hand cream doesn’t have an oily residue and it didn’t feel heavy on my hands. It does have a scent which smells like a prescription cream which I did not find particularly pleasing. The texture was thick and creamy and it absorbed quickly into my skin.

Unfortunately, I did not find the cream moisturising enough; upon initial application my hands felt comfortable and hydrated but it didn’t take long for them to feel dry again. I found myself using it a lot at work because I handle a lot of paper so I find myself constantly reaching for the cream to use. Just to clarify, I don’t have dry skin but I just didn’t find the hand cream moisturising enough.

The Sunflower Hand Cream was a bit of a let-down for me. It promises to nourish your skin and leave it looking radiant. Whilst initial application did have some benefits, they were not long lasting so I find myself constantly applying the hand cream through the day. If you have easily irritated skin, you may appreciate the fragrance-free benefits but overall, this was not for me.

My Trusty Sunflower Hand Cream is priced at £3.99.
