My Chocobelle Box
I absolutely love a good beauty box, I'm currently subscribed to three as we speak. My Chocobelle Box has been on my radar for a little while now, so when I got the chance to try out the November box I jumped at it. My Chocobelle is a monthly beauty subscription box that caters to brown beauties, there's nothing worse than getting a box full of things that are not compatible to our gorgeous brown skin tones. Each month has a theme and November's one was Kiss Me. It included a set of cruelty free mink false eyelashes from Demure Lashes, which look absolutely stunning, four tiny samples of the Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation in the three darkest shades (one of the sample shades has been doubled up), an Essence Lip Liner in Honey Berry, a dark pink and one from Benecos, which has no shade name but is a deep red. My favourite item in the box (other than the lashes) is Pure Lust Extreme Matte Lip Tint in the shade Corruptionist from Cailyn Cosmetics, which is a Matte Liquid Lipstick in a deep dark black purple shade, but in some lights has hints of navy blue, this shade is not for the faint hearted and probably a shade I would wear on a day I was feeling bold.
The box is smaller than I expected and it does not include a leaflet or any information about the products or the company itself, which I'm use to with my other boxes. A couple of the items come with little cards talking about the individual products though, so it's not too bad. I would definitely consider subscribing to this box, all the products were brown girl friendly, and the box is reasonably priced.
Talking of prices, My Chocobelle Box costs £12.00 and if you choose the monthly subscription plan, then this amount is taken from your account monthly. You can also prepay for three months (£32.00), six months (£65.00) or 12 months (£130.00) and then the payment amount is taken immediately. You can also buy a one off box at £12.00, from the shop section of the website.
