I actually hadn’t heard for LipGlam until this item was sent to me, but I was just starting to run low on my much loved Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, so was in need of a new lip balm. LipGlam uses pure lanolin which is an ingredient raved about by beauty journalists and bloggers, to freshen and revitalise your lips. This ingredient is a natural emollient extracted from sheep’s wool and is blended with natural botanicals resulting a readily absorbed balm that is 100% natural and dermatologically tested. LipGlam is a multi-use balm can also be used for a plethora of purposes, like on the cuticles, hair and body to name a few, providing 8 hour moisture and restoring the skins natural barrier.
This balm is very thick, but on contact with the skin melts nicely, a small amount goes a long way. It’s housed in a squeezy 12ml tube and gold lid, with a slanted, concave tip that fits snuggly around the lips contours. When I applied it for the first time, the dry skin on my bottom lip sort of started peeling and crumbling off, by the time I reapplied about five hours later the dry skin was completely gone.
By the time I woke up the next day my lips were smooth and hydrated, needless to say I’ve used this continuously since I received it and also on my cuticles. This is a fantastic multi-purpose moisturising balm, as well as being paraben, colourant and additive free.
LipGlam is priced at £9.99.
