I’ve updated my skincare regime as is fitting for a lady in her 40’s. I select products that offer anti-aging treatment by tackling fine lines and wrinkles. I love the magic of having a good night’s sleep with a high quality ‘potion’ on face, to awaken next morning looking marvellous. Away with sleep creases, fine lines and dry patches and hello younger-looking, moisturised, smooth and supple skin. I trialled La Roche-Posay Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment for month. I used it alongside their Effaclar 3-Step Anti-Blemish System, (review of this product will be up on Wednesday) as well as with my usual skincare products. I absolutely loved it. Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment gave me the most glorious morning after glowing clear youthful looking skin.

Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment was developed for women who are looking for an effective solution to wrinkles, uneven skin tone and dark spots. However, it’s also suitable for women who have sensitive skin or who have experienced feelings of discomfort on the skin when using retinol based skincare in the past. It can be used in the mornings or evenings alongside a moisturiser or on its own.

It can also work as a makeup bases. I opted to use mine once per week on its own, in the evenings. I preferred to reserve it for those mornings when I knew I needed to wake-up with my ‘slay face’ on. Using this product made me feel happy and confident with my appearance. Over the trial period I used it five times. I plan to continue using in that way.

Redermic [R] contains a unique combination of pure Retinol with an exclusive Retinol booster complex which promises to enhance effectiveness of the formula, while maintaining a suitable tolerance on your skin. It’s a rich cream that absorbs quickly into your skin and makes it look hydrated, fresh and supple.

The formula is intense and comes with a warning. Redermic [R] may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and there is possibility of sunburn. It’s advised that sunscreen should be used with least SPF 15, protective clothing should be worn and expose to the sun should be limited. Additionally, it must not be used with any other retinoid product. These are precautions that I adhere on a regular basis, thus it was not a challenging to follow these instructions.

La Roche-Posay Redermic [R] Anti-Wrinkle Treatment is priced at £29.50.
