L.A Girl Cosmetics HD Pro BB Cream
LA Girl Cosmetics is a super budget friendly makeup line with a wide range of products: from foundations to nail polish. Among their makeup collection is the HD Pro BB Cream which I received for reviewing from Slapp.
The BB Cream comes in eight shades of which three are more suitable for dark skintones. I used the Slapp Foundation Finder to get matched with my perfect shade and it matched me to ‘Dark’ which is a good shade choice for me. L.A describe the BB Cream to be an all in one skin beautifier which primes, moisturisers and enhances skin. The product is fragrance and paraben free and formulated with Vitamin E, B3 and C
This BB Cream comes in a simple black tube with 30ml of product. It has sheer to light coverage but is very buildable. It feels very light on the skin and didn't clog or enhance my pores. Sheer to light coverage means I have to use concealer and powder in areas that need more coverage. This product is easy to apply and blend with fingers or a brush. It evens out my skin tone and has a semi dewy/luminous finish. It also holds up well in the heat and lasts all day.
This product is suitable for everyday wear and suitable for a range of skin types. I have normal to combination skin and the BB Cream worked well with it. I definitely recommend it if you love light coverage, natural looking foundations or something very easy to work with. My only issue with the product is the shades: there’s only eight shades in total with three catering to dark skins. The Dark and Deep shades look very similar and it is difficult to notice a difference between the two.
L.A Girl Pro BB Cream is priced at £5.00 and available to buy from Slapp.
