Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist
If you are not familiar with Jurlique, it's a brand that was founded in the 1980's by biochemist Dr Jurgen Klein and his botanist wife Ulrik with a vision to create a pure and natural skin care range. Their focus is all about natural beauty, and from seed to skin they guarantee the potency and purity of their ingredients by growing and extracting their own ingredients at their farm in Adelaide Australia, and by also formulating their own products.
So I have I have to admit that I have generally steered well clear of any type of rosewater because (a) I’ve never gotten on with the smell and (b) it always seemed to give me some kind of reaction. And then I met the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist and lets just say I've been converted.
The key to my conversion largely has to be because of the amazing quality of the ingredients used. They handpick each individual rose, which means they can ensure the quality of the rose is to the highest standard when it goes into their skincare.
Each 100ml bottle of their Rosewater Balancing Mist contains a whooping 8000 handpicked petals, which are then gently dried to ensure they retain all their essential oils. So when you use it and are enveloped in the scent, you truly feel like you are stopping to smell the roses. Additional ingredients include Marshmallow and Aloe which both help to hydrate and soothe the skins surface.
I'm still not 100% on the rose fragrance but there has been a big jump from about 0 to about 85% and that for me is saying a lot - the scent is refreshing and not at all overpowering, and I find the more I use it the more I like it. Any lovers of rose scents will love this mist and non-lovers be warned, you might become a convert like me.
I use it by misting it over my skin and over the last four weeks it has become one of my favourite ways to hydrate and refresh my skin either in the morning or during the day over makeup and it actually soothes my senses and leaves my skin feeling balanced.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist is priced at £18.00.
