Good Things Argan Oil Collection

In case you don't know I have a very soft spot for Good Things. It is a lovely skincare brand that is very purse friendly but amazing quality. They released their new range in January with Argan Oil. Now we all know that Argan Oil has been a huge buzzword for the last few years and we are all aware of the wonderful benefit it has on our hair and skin, so I was very curious to try out this new collection. The Good Things Argan Oil range consists of a Nourishing Cleansing Oil, Moisture Boost Facial Serum, Perfecting Facial Oil and Time Rewind Day Cream. It has been designed help target and treat signs of ageing. I tried out the Cleansing Oul, Serum and Day Cream

I tend to use DHC Cleansing Oil at night when taking off my makeup so it was a nice change to use this one as part of my morning routine. I applied a generous amount to my dry face and then massaged it into my skin while adding water. The result was a lovely clean face that felt soft and hydrated. I have been suffering from a case of dryness around my eyes and have been waking up with a complexion that is in desperate need of TLC. After applying this oil it restored my face back to normal. This product contains Argan Oil, Macadamia Oil with essential fatty acids and Sweet Almond Oil.

I am not a serum person and very rarely bother with it but as we are still in the winter months I decided to use it on days when I am out and about. The texture is very nice and it is easy to work with. It added a bit of texture to my face and left it matte. To be honest I am not sure whether this product added any benefit to my complexion but then as I stated I am not a serum person. As well as Macadamia Oil and Sweet Almond Oil this cream also contains Peptides.

The Day Cream on another hand was a real joy to use. It is housed in a small round jar which is different from Good Things as their previous moisturisers are in tubs. The jar gives it a much more premium feel and the product lives up to that. When you open the lid it looks like whipped cream and the texture is very fluffy. It is very concentrated so you only need a small amount to do the job. This cream contains Vitamin E and Baobab.

This is a really lovely collection; everything about it is immaculate - from the feel of the products to the packaging. However, what stands out the most is the smell - divine is the word. The Day Cream, Serum and Cleansing Oil all smell really beautiful.

The Nourishing Cleansing Oil is priced at £5.99, Moisture Boost Facial Serum at £7.99, Perfecting Facial Oil at £6.99 and Time Rewind Day Cream at £8.99. The range is available to buy in Boots.
