Getting YUMI With My Lashes
I was invited by YUMI Lashes to try out their lash enhancement treatment and as an eyelash enthusiast who is obsessed with lashes enhancers such as individual lashes and strip lashes I went along to see what the buzz was about. YUMI Lashes is an advanced technique that boosts and lifts the lashes without having to apply false ones, instead it works with your own natural lashes. Sandra Viglino, a dermapigmentologist founded YUMI Lashes in 2008. She is a well know teacher in the permanent makeup field and is recognised for the great quality of her work in Switzerland and throughout Europe.
The treatment itself lasted for 45 minutes and it was so relaxing that I actually drifted off (talk about over comfy). The treatment turned my eyelashes upwards, giving them length, height and volume without having to perm the eyelashes which is commonly used by other beauticians.
This treatment last up to two or three months, which is great if you are looking for a more permanent solution. However I must stress that the right after care is required in order to obtain the best result. Also it is advised not to wet or rub your eyelashes, not to swim and not to wear mascara for the first 24 hours of the treatment.
The price range at YUMI Lashes from £100 to £150 depending on which beautician you visit. I would like to add that YUMI is not for everyone, it's ideal for someone with flat lashes (lashes facing downwards) and requires a lift-up but if your lashes are long and already curly then I wouldn't recommend this treatment.
