Fashion Fair Carnival Collection

One of Fashion Fair’s latest release is their Carnival Collection, and as the name implies it’s all about colour. The collection includes six new eyeshadows and six new lipsticks. The eyeshadows are pigmented, soft, blendable and last all day, with added Vitamin E to hydrate the eye area and can be used wet or dry. I have five of the six shades; Sahara Sand is a gorgeous golden orange shade, Safari Brown is a dark warm toned brown, Pure Gold is a deep golden shade, Ocean is a bright turquoise blue and Indigo is a bright royal blue. All of these eyeshadows have a satin finish, the first three shades are gorgeous everyday shades for brown beauties, if you have struggled to find flesh toned eyeshadow I highly recommend you check these out.

Now for the lipsticks, I have all six of the new shades; these are pigmented, creamy lipsticks that are enriched with vitamins and emollients so they glide on the lips and soften them. There isn’t a shade here I do not like; Sepia is a gorgeous chocolate brown shade in a frost finish, Confidence is a stunning golden shade in a frost finish that I often apply over the top of Confidence. Divine Pink is a matte bright fuchsia pink that is stunning, Ole Orange is a bright orange in a cream finish, Grapesicle is a gorgeous dark berry shade and Royal Orchid is a raspberry shade; both of these have a soft satin finish to them. These lipsticks last well on the lips, although most will need to be reapplied after eating, but they are a pleasure to use.

Until now, I had yet to try Fashion Fair’s colour products, and I have been missing out. If you are in the market for gorgeous eyeshadows and lipsticks, especially if you want a good flesh/brown toned eyeshadow or true brown lipstick you have to check these out.

The Fashion Fair Carnival Collection is available to buy from Debenhams and Morleys in Brixton. The Eyeshadows are priced at £11.50 and the Lipsticks are £14.00.
