Epara, the First Luxury Skincare Brand Aimed at brownbeauties Launches
Epara, the first luxury skincare brand for Women of Colour, has launched exclusively in Harrods. The collection is organic, natural and devoted to nourishing and protecting your skin using African ingredients such as Moringa oil from Kenya, Marula oil from South Africa, Argan oil from Morocco and Shea Butter from Ghana.
The name, Epara means to cocoon oneself and is created by Ozohu Adoh who has been on a personal mission to offer brownbeauties a bespoke and authentic skincare range. As someone who suffered from dry and uneven skin condition but could not find a product that dealt with her needs she decided to create her own range. After being flooded with requests from friends and family for her products she decided to create Epara.
The difference between Epara and other skincare ranges is that it tackles dry skin and pigmentation, which are two things that brownbeauties suffer from. All the products contains active ingredients that tackle these issues.
The collection consist of 10 products; Cleansing Oil, Cleansing Lotion, Moisturising Face Cream, Brightening Night Balm, Intense Hydrating Mask, Comforting Body Cream, Hydrating Serum, Eye Serum, Balancing Face Oil and Hydrating Mist.
