Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment Serum
The Dr Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment is formulated using organically certified and naturally extracted products, and is a Beauty Insiders Choice Award Winner 2014. It can be applied to wet or dry hair and in addition to Argan Oil it also contains; orange fruit extract, clove leaf oil, geranium oil, lemon peel oil, patchouli oil, cinnamon leaf oil, rosewood oil, wild mint oil, mandarin peel oil, vanilla fruit extract, spearmint oil, kukui seed oil, moringa seed oil and sacha inchi seed oil. The oil has a sort of floral citrus scent, and helps to eliminate frizz, soften and nourish hair, it won’t weigh the hair down and is great to revive dry tired weaves and wigs. It does contain alcohol denat as the third ingredient and Argan Oil as the fourth ingredient. I prefer to use this on my Peruvian and Brazilian hair wigs, as I have other products that are richer and more suited to my natural afro hair, but I would use this in conjunction with other products on my natural hair. It’s housed in a tall glass 100ml bottle, with a pump dispenser, and a reasonable £14.99.
So we have yet another Argan Oil based product. I doubt the obsession will be going away anytime soon, due to its rich source of vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that are beneficial for skin, hair and nails. But not all Argan Oil products are the same, firstly how it is extracted is important, then how much the product costs can usually be an indicator for how much Argan Oil is actually in the product. Check your ingredients list, lots of products that claim to contain Argan Oil and it’s the last ingredient on the list.
