Welcome to Part 2 of brownbeauty Goes Nude where we test out pink lipsticks from various brands and report our findings. Yesterday Alexandra, Tunrayo, Jo, Joy and Beatrice shared their thoughts on lipsticks by DHC, MAC, Fashion Fair, bare Minerals, Stargazer, Charlotte Tilbury, Smashbox and DHC. Today it is the turn of Segun, Maria, Tamara and Sarah. Segun (above) tried out nude lipsticks by Iman.

Iman Luxury Moisturising Lipstick - Baby Doll This is a pinky, peachy colour, which is more of my usual nude shade. It is creamy, glides on easily and is richly coloured with again a semi-matte finish. Reasonably long lasting - although as with most nude lipsticks, you will need to touch up a little bit more than you would a darker lip shade.

Sarah (above) tried out nude lipsticks by Sleek and Sainsburys Boutique.

Sainburys Boutique -That Ol' Chestnut The colour is more of a brown on me and has a very subtle shimmer. I like that it feels creamy on and has a subtle sheen finish. I can probably get away without a lip liner with this colour.

Sleek True Colour Lipstick - Naked This is a nice nude but not for my skintone. It comes off as ashy on me and I will definitely have to pair this with a darker lip liner. It looks lighter swatched than in the pack.

Tamara tested out nude lipsticks by CAKE Cosmetics and LOLA Makeup.

LOLA Makeup Intense Colour Lipstick – Dusky Pink Dusky Pink is a medium nude mixed with dusky rose, which brings out the natural colour of lips, especially on medium to dark skin tones. It has a creamy texture and semi-opaque finish with a subtle sheen. My lips felt smooth and moisturised and the lipstick has a decent longevity.

CAKE Cosmetics Lipstick – Black Honey Black Honey is a dark, warm-toned brown. This lipstick has a very sheer coverage and a glossy finish, making it something of a lip stain instead. It provides your lips with a volumising, your-lips-but-better look.

Maria (above) tested out nude lipsticks by Burt's Bees and NYX.

Burt's Bees Lip Crayon - Sedona Sands The shape of the nip on this Lip Crayon is perfect for precise application. It’s got a rich cream texture to it and glides on easily with good coverage on the lips. I really liked this shade; it’s a lovely balance of brown and pink which should work nicely against cappuccino to creamy hot chocolate skin. Its formulation contains shea butter and is infused with Kendi Oil, and Jojoba Oil. It could last for up to three hours before reapplication is necessary.

NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick - Pops Explosif These butter lipstick by NYX are sumptuous. What’s in a name? Like butter it spreads softly and glides onto your lips satin-smooth. They gave good coverage and an even look to your lip colour. I am in love with Pops Expolif because it was close to my natural lip colour and didn’t wash out my complexion, it also has a hint of berry to the brown. It can last up to three hours before reapplication is necessary.
