Bodhi and Birch Mint The Temple Balm

This product has been living in my make-up bag for the past few weeks which is surprising as when I first got it I was not completely sure what to do with it. Bodhi and Birch are renowned for making high quality hard working skincare. The Mint The Temple Balm however is more of a holistic health product, it is a very soft balm with an Organic Shea Butter base. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen, for work and for pleasure. I don’t really suffer from headaches but I do get tired eyes. I popped a bit on my temples and was very surprised. I am not a fan of mint in lip products because of the tingle, however, when you have a report to write and the deadline is looming the mintiness on the temples is a real treat. The aroma is intense in a good way; it contains peppermint blended with camphor, eucalyptus, frankincense, marjoram, spearmint, grapefruit, may chang rosemary, lavender thyme and clove. That is why the fragrance is so intense, it is also why it has been living in my make up bag rather than sitting in my bathroom.

I had a tube journey where I had the misfortune of sitting next to a person who smelt very unpleasant. I rubbed a little Mint The Temple Balm on my wrists and smelt them every time we reached a new stop - it made my journey bearable. I also used it when I was out with a friend who was feeling slightly nauseous so I made her put some on her wrist to smell and the nausea was reduced.

As we head into colder weather and cold and flu season, I know that I will be using this like a solid form of Olbas Oil to help keep my sinuses clear and to surround myself the refreshing scent.
