Barry M All Night Long Full Coverage Foundation

Barry M is a British high street brand known for its quality cosmetics at affordable prices. I have tried many of their products and love them including their Baked Tri-Blend Highlighters and Gloss Me Lipglosses. Adding to their new collection is their brand new, All Night Long Full Coverage Foundation

The new All Night Long Full Coverage Foundation promises a light weight and moisturising texture with a full coverage finish. They say it’s easy to blend and gives a healthy look to the skin. It’s been formulated with anti- oxidizing fruit extracts and Vitamin E. It’s available in 15 shades and priced at £7.99

The All Night Long Foundations come in the standard 30ml size in a plastic bottle with a pump. I received two of the darkest shades, Pecan has a neutral/yellow undertone and Chestnut with a red undertone. Pecan is my closest shade and a good match. The foundation does blend easily into the skin with a buffing brush or a sponge although you get less coverage with a sponge as expected.  I agree feels very lightweight and has a thin to medium consistency and a very subtle scent.

I find All Night Long a medium coverage foundation although it’s easily buildable without looking cakey. The foundation does not oxidise and holds up well during the day. For the price of £7.99 the longevity is good however it is not resistant to sweat. In the heat, I noticed it did start to melt easily.  This foundation is not transfer proof although it doesn’t make this claim anyway. After a full day’s wear, the foundation looks good, my t-zone is slightly shiny but I experience this with every other foundation I wear.

Whilst 15 shades is not the biggest, the distribution of shades between skin tones are equal: there are five shades each for light, medium, dark. Of course there could be more in between shades, for instance the lightest shade is white and the darkest shade, the shade after mine is not that dark.

Overall, the new Barry M All Night is a good foundation. I would wear this for more everyday casual wear instead of wearing it for special occasions. I think the foundations leans more on the medium scale of coverage although it’s easily buildable. I love the light weight texture of the All Night Long Foundation and the fact that it does not oxidise.  It’s not the biggest shade range, but I am glad the distribution of shades are equal across the skin tones.

Barry M All Night Long Full Coverage Foundation is priced at £7.99.
