Bantu App Relaunches

A couple of years ago we talked about the Bantu App which is a peer to peer classifieds service for ladies who are looking for local stylists for kinky, coily, and curly hair. Well the app has been relaunched with new features added as well as an improved look and feel. There is now a bigger hair style selection which allows you to choose from 64 hairstyles. When looking for a hairstylist you now have the ability to change locations and widen your search. This is perfect if you plan on travelling and want to get your hair done at that location. This allows you to book ahead. The app also allows you to filter by price and allows for a large price range when choosing a hair style. On top of that the hair stylists now have more detailed bios and there is a more seamless sign up process, plus you can now rate them on a five star scale, where previously it was about the number of hearts.

Bantu App was created by John Eke when he saw a need for ladies to source a hair braider in a speedy and effective way. The information is collected by hairdressers adding their details to the directory and customers can rate their skills and services by leaving recommendations. The app is available in the UK and North America and runs on iOS but Android users should expect to see it available on their platforms in due course.
