AERIN Iris Meadow
Aerin Lauder is the grand-daughter of Estee Lauder - she of the self named iconic beauty empire. She launched her own range of beauty products, AERIN in 2012 which generated a lot of great response from beauty journalists and bloggers. As well as makeup, skincare, body care, her beauty collection consists of fragrances - one of which is Iris Meadow. The inspiration behind Iris Meadow is that it is a place to dream – wide open fields, brilliant blue skies and an endless landscape of wildflowers. The fragrance represents today’s modern busy life and the desire to dream and escape. Whether you are on your lunchtime walk in a busy city park or in an open field in the countryside, you take the energising senses with you.
Iris Meadow is full of crisp green notes infused with lush florals that are deepened by warm, energising woods. You also have Effervescent Mandarin and vibrant Blackcurrant blended with fresh florals. Iris, emboldened by Egyptian Jasmine, balances the scent while Cedarwood melts into creamy, woody musks.
I found this fragrance to be light in terms of the top notes but where they lower notes are concerned they really packed a lot of punch. The word crispy is very appropriate because this fragrance is full of zest. It is far from a sweet smell which I normally go for, in fact it is quite bitter but the freshness makes it appealing.
There is a floral theme where Iris Meadow is concerned with the smell and the packaging which is very opulent and gorgeous to look at. However there is more to this perfume than looks - it lasted for about five hours but even when it faded there was still a hint of citrus.
if you are looking for a fragrance that you can spray on in the morning that will last well into the day and are prepared to splash out a bit more than you normally do then Iris Meadow is the one for you.
Iris Meadow is priced at £85.00 for 50 ml.
